About this tournament
The Oakridge Country Club in Huntsville, AR will feature a temporary disc golf course from January 24th-Februrary 2nd.
Oakridge has a fully stocked bar and kitchen in their club house and is a great place to enjoy a day of golf in any form!
The course is long and will have a different style than any other course around. Expect lots of distance shots that require shaping, elevation change, and a few water carries. After the initial design the Gold layout measures roughly 9700' at a par 64. The plan is to have intermediate and short tees to pair with the pro level Golds.

This will be a 2 round, best shot doubles tournament. Grab a partner and come take a crack at this incredible course!

9am Round 1 Shotgun Start
There will be a 1 hour break for lunch starting from the time that the last cards arrives back at the clubhouse. We encourage everyone to enjoy the bar and kitchen at the Oakridge clubhouse!
The official round 2 start time will be published in the comments section on Disc Golf Scene, published on the Events Facebook Page, and visible on your UDisc app. We anticipate the rounds taking a bit longer than usual considering the length of the course.
After round 2 we will have a brief awards ceremony to acknowledge our winners. Pros can get their payout in cash or digitally after the event if preferred. There will be no trophies for this event. We would again encourage you to stick around and enjoy the clubhouse at your leisure.

$60 Team Entry for All Divisions
Pro Entry
-$20 for Green Fees
-$40 to Cash Payout
$200 ADDED 1st Place in Pro Divisions.
-$100 to 1st in Pro
-$50 to 1st in Pro 40+
-$50 to Pro Mixed 1st Place
There must be at least 2 teams in a given pro division for cash to be added to 1st place

-$20 for Green Fees
-$40 for Player Pack Discs
- Custom Event Stamped Mint Lobster or Salamander (Glow Available)
- There are 54 player pack discs available first come first serve by registration.
There will be no ace pot for this event.
Golf Cart Rentals
There are 10 carts available for rentals at Oak Ridge. These are first come first serve and can be reserved with registration. The $40 cart rental is good for both rounds of the event. There will be 2 additional cart rentals included in the event raffle, more details below.
Disclaimer: Course accessibility via golf cart will be subject to course conditions. If the course is wet then they will be allowed on the cart paths only. The initial design of the disc golf course follows the cart path for the most part but there will be some areas that this is inconvenient.
Raffle
We will be hosting a raffle to create an FDGA new course fund in hopes of enabling new courses to be established in Northwest Arkansas. The raffle will have a minimum of 20 drawings and will include but is not limited to:
- Golf green fees to Oakridge
- MVP Black Hole HD basket
- Free Entry to the Windy Ridge Open this Spring
- A dozen or so discs
- 2 golf cart rentals for use in Doubles at Oak Ridge!
The raffle will be drawn after the 2 round is complete and will be completely digital. You do not have to be present to win. The exception is for the golf cart use in this event. Those drawings will be done during the players meeting and will be limited to players attending the event.
If you would like to donate to this raffle all prizes are appreciated.
Divisions
We encourage players to play up from the divisions that they would traditionally play in PDGA events.
Pro: The highest level.
Pro Mixed: Pro teams with 1 male and 1 female player.
Pro 40+: Pro teams 40+ years in age.
Advanced: Experienced amateur players.
Am Mixed: Amateur teams with 1 male and 1 female player
Amateur 40+: Amateur teams 40+ years in age
Beginner: New and less experienced players.
Live Scoring
Live Scoring will be kept through the UDisc app. Please register for this event with the same email or PDGA number that is linked to your UDisc account. The morning of the tournament you will be able to open your app and see that a scorecard has been created for you. It will show you your starting hole, course layout, and the shotgun start time for both rounds. UDisc also features a course map function to help you better navigate the course during the round. This scorecard will not be visible in the app until the player's meeting.

The course is still in the preliminary design phase. We plan to have 3 course layouts available for play. The initial Gold tees measure nearly 10,000' in course distance and is designed for pro players. The plan is to scale the distance of the Blue and White tees to 8,000' and 6,000' respectively while maintaining the difficulty for the corresponding skill levels. The course will be set up for play starting January 24th.
Practice & Casual Rounds
The course will be open for public play beginning January 24th.
Green free are $10 and golf carts are available for $20. Tee times and cart rentals are in person only and first come first serve.

There will be a mini on Sun. Jan 26th, and Sanctioned Flex Start on Feb 2nd before the course is taken down. There is a chance that Oak Ridge installs a permanent course if they see enough support for the course from disc golfers.
