Double Take at Cachuma Lake 2023
About this tournament
UPDATE AS OF 2/20/23: No more waitlist spots will be available. Entire waitlist has been added to the tournament. MA 50 has been moved to the PRO COURSE for the weekend to make room for all the players on the waitlist. There are still spots on the open side and only one team spot for the AM side (MA1 or MA40), since MA50 was moved to the pro course they have more room available, please contact Wally to sign up for this.
Please screenshot or write down the schedule on here, this is what we will be doing. We will have a player meeting on SATURDAY MORNING ONLY. Cards will be ready to be picked up in the morning on Sunday at the club house. The scores and hole assignments will be posted at the clubhouse along with the schedule. You will be playing both rounds each day with the group you start that day with so you do not need to come back to the clubhouse between rounds.
The new cut off day for registration is Feb 24th. If there are spots open just sign up. Wait listers that do not get in will be refunded.
Payouts will be done most likely Monday after the tournament in the afternoon/ evening.

Welcome to the 2023 Double Take at Cachuma Lake! This tournament is all about that cash! Payouts are limited to only the top 3 teams in each division depending on size. This is a Non-PDGA sanctioned event which means AMs will also be paid in cash.
Campsites and roads that are NOT a part of the courses are OB. Two Meter Rule in effect all weekend long. Fully Surrounded by the lake water is OB, puddles and the like are not OB in the case of rain.
Format: All divisions will play both courses twice. Open Divisions play the regular course Saturday morning, Mohawk Saturday afternoon. Open Divisions play Mohawk Sunday morning and the regular course Sunday afternoon. AM divisions play the opposite courses as Open. Some shuffling may occur depending on the amount of women teams and age protected teams that sign up.
Women Teams have an extra week to sign up, after that week if there are spots remaining the tournament will be filled from the waitlist.
Divisions: There was a question about the 'mixed divisions' the M in the divisions stands for MIXED, not MENS more info here if needed: https://www.pdga.com/divisions
Ace Pot: $5 from each entry ($10 from each team) will be put towards the ace pot. The ace pot will be split by number of aces (if somebody gets more than one are they get as many shares of the ace pot as aces they get). If no aces are hit the ace pot will go back into the payouts.
Formats:
Alternate Shot Two Drives - Each team will have both players tee on each hole. From there the team will decide who's drive to take, and play alternate shot till the hole is finished. And its starts all over on the next hole.
Alternate Shot One Drive - Teammates take turns teeing off, so only one drive per hole, then play alternate shot to complete the hole. The player that teed off the on previous hole doesn't tee on the next hole (Teammate A will tee off on all odd number holes and Teammate B will tee off on all even number holes).
Best Shot:

All holes played incorrectly will be stroked accordingly.

Refund policy
Wally Moore is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. If your team backs out after Feb 19, 2023 and your team cannot be replaced you will not receive a refund.
