USDGC Doubles Qualifier and fundraiser event for the 2022 Amateur Pittsburgh Flying Disc Open
2 rounds of 20 holes BEST SHOT doubles at Deer Lakes DGC
$50 per team. $20 to fundraiser, $20 to USDGC and $10 to payout via PFD merch for MA1. MPO and Mixed divisions will be $25 to fundraiser, $25 to payout.
USDGC qualifier rules are everyone must play in one of two divisions MA1 OR FA1 and must be true amateurs (never accepted cash in a PDGA Tournament) to qualify.
Each player competing will receive a premium USDGC Doubles custom stamped disc and a chance to qualify for the main event. Qualifying teams will receive trophy medals to mark their achievement.
Additionally we will offer a MPO and Mixed (male/female) division for those that want to participate but not be part of the qualifier. Those divisions will be playing for cash only.
Tee assignments:
MPO MA1 FA1 - White
Mixed - Red
We will be playing a 20 hole layout using the 4 temp holes as holes 15 and 16 aren't playable. 8a is across the gravel lot/street after hole 8. 17a, 17b and 17c are up the park road after hole 17.
All normal course OB. Any paved park road is OB and applies to all holes
Additional OB:
Hole 6 roped area on right-side
Hole 7 and 9 blue gill pavilion
Hole 8 gravel road on right. Use best judgment
Hole 13 roped area far right-side hillside (safety concern)
Optional $2 ace pot. If no one hits it, funds go towards AM PFDO
Pro and Mixed division cash payout via PayPal
AM merch payout by PFD

Check-in:
Please plan on arriving by 845 at the very latest. One team member will need to come to Blue Gill pavilion by hole 7's basket. Tee off will be promptly at 9 am. If you don't hear the horn, tee off at 9. Virtual player meeting will be posted before event. No day off player meeting.
Scoring will be whatever you want. udisc (preferred), keep a papercard, whatever you want. If you use udisc enter the team name as the user name. I will then be able to see your score automatically! Please make sure you save the round so they post to the udisc leader board. If you use another form please bring it to the pavilion immediately after your round.

USDGC Main Event Details
USDGC Doubles Main Event is an Amateur only Doubles tournament held every year in Rock Hill, SC. This year, the main event is scheduled for September 30th through October 2nd. This event marks the beginning of the USDGC Championship week and provides qualified competitors the opportunity to play the famed Winthrop Arena course decked out in all its USDGC pageantry, as well as the Championship Layout of the technical Camp Canaan Riverbend Gold course. This is a special opportunity for any competitive golfer. To compete in the USDGC Main Event, teams must qualify through local qualifier events.

This year we are introducing our first women’s division. We have been wanting to make this happen for quite some time and with the addition of the Throw Pink Women’s Disc Golf Championships for the professional division we finally have a course appropriate for the ladies.
