The Doomsday Ice Age Demolition is a beginner-friendly, unsanctioned disc golf event designed to help bring an end to our long winter “Ice Age” — by throwing plastic, shaking off the cold, and helping to feed families in our community.
This one-round event will take place at Forrest Park in Bloomington, IL
Front 9- Short tees → Silver pins | Back 9-Long tees → Silver pins
Player will only be able to use the two discs from the player pack for the challenge. Players have the option of adding a survivor disc to their player packs that can be used along with your other two discs for the entire round. Players will compete in a single general division with prizes for the top 3 throwers. Prizes will include a LE 1st place stamped Doomsday disc and LE doomsday discs for 2nd & 3rd.
Player Pack – $30
– $5 from every entry donated to Midwest Food Bank
– 1 Ration plastic putter- Cyber Putter 3/3/0/2
– 1 Premium plastic driver- Psyop 9/4/-3/2
– 2 raffle tickets
Optional Survivor Disc:
Players may purchase the Ice Age (7 | 4 | 0 | 3) for $14 as an optional Survivor Disc. This disc can be used at anytime during the round!
The Ice Age is an overstable fairway driver that excels on both forehand and backhand throws, offering a reliable fade for flex lines and controlled hyzers.
CTPs: Front 9: Hole 8 | Back 9: Hole 2
Post-Round Activities:
– Ice Age Bucket Long Distance Challenge
– Big Joe Griffin's Oxymoron CTP Challange
– Raffle drawings and awards
Charity Raffle & Food Drive:
Players may purchase raffle tickets before and during the event. Participants will also receive 2 raffle ticket for 2 or more canned good donated. All raffle proceeds and canned food donations will be delivered to the Midwest Food Bank.
Doomsday Pop-Up Shop:
A limited pop-up shop will be available featuring new and used Doomsday discs and accessories.
