Welcome to the Inaugural Don Kleppe Memorial. For those that didn’t know Don he not only was an incredible person and a great friend, he also played a pivotal part and was instrumental to the early growth of disc golf in West Virginia. He played a large role in getting the city of Huntington to get the first public course in West Virginia put into Rotary Park and also went around Huntington and raised money for baskets and teepads to help get Rotary built. Without Don and Johnny Sias, disc golf in WV wouldn’t be where it is today. This event is to honor Don and his life and show appreciation to all his hard work growing this great sport we all love.
This event will be hosted at Rotary Park and Indian Rock in Huntington, WV. It is a 2 Round 1 Day C tier event. The player packs will be a custom Don Kleppe Memorial Shirt and a Custom Innova Disc. Adele and Johnny Sias has graciously offered to donate $584 towards added Merch to help pay for Don Kleppe Memorial shirts. Must register by May 5th to be guaranteed the correct shirt size. Anything after will be first come first serve.
Maddog Disc Shop has also graciously donated $250 towards added merch for Amateur Payouts.
