Grand Rapids Disc Golfers United, along with Discraft, are proud to present the 2020 Battle For Old Farm at Old Farm Park in Kentwood, Michigan on September 26th, 2020. This is the third running of the tournament as a PDGA Sanctioned C-Tier event.
The Battle For Old Farm is two rounds of 18 holes with a unique division structure. Divisions are sorted purely by your PDGA rating at the time of the event. A chance for young and old, male and female players to compete against each other. Players are eligible to sign up for any division that their PDGA rating allows them to.
In light of recent events, the amateur player pack for the 2020 Battle For Old Farm will be a voucher redeemable at Great Lakes Disc for 1 Discraft disc worth $17 or less. Players will receive the voucher when they check in on the morning of the tournament and may redeem it anytime afterwords. The Gold (RPA) division is considered a Pro division and will not receive a voucher as they will be playing for $250 added cash. All PDGA rules about amateur players accepting cash will be honored (more info in the comments section). Amateur divisions will compete for 100% payouts courtesy of Great Lakes Disc.
Crew 42 will be covering the Gold Division lead card for both rounds.
As in previous years, we will be using Tournament OB rules on Holes 12, 13 and 14. All Mandatory Drop Zones will be marked.
We will have a raffle with prizes TBD. Stay Tuned.
Optional $5 Ace Pool, $5 50/50 CTP. There will be CTP's and LP's on every hole!
