Event Overview:
Join us for the 7th Annual Discraft Michigan Amateur State Championships and celebrate the 30th year of disc golf state championships in Ludington! Enjoy an exciting weekend of disc golf with your friends and family!
Berth & Registration Details
Early Registration is open exclusively to players who have earned a berth (invite). Berths are reported by your tournament or league manager. So, if you are not listed here (starting late March), please contact the person that awarded you the Berth. Berths are uploaded every few weeks early in the season and typically weekly come late July.
Division Flexibility: A berth is not tied to a specific division, you may register in any division for which you qualify.
You have not won a berth? There is no Last Chance Qualifier this year, however you can register right here! This year we will be using a Late Registration Period that will begin, on August 24th 7pm for all players that did not win a berth or utilize Early Registration. All remaining spots will be first come, first served.

Player Package Value: $160
PLAYER PACK PICK UP WILL BE AT MASON COUNTY PARK ONLY THIS YEAR.

Early registration is for players that have been awarded a berth. All awarded berths will expire on or after August 23rd at 10 PM.
Event Schedule & Format
Rounds of Play:
The tournament consists of 3 rounds of 18 holes played over three days (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). Each day features one round of play with designated tee times. Friday tee times will be posted no later than Thursday at 5 PM.
Division Changes:
If your rating necessitates a change in division after registration, please update your division before registration closes. We make no exceptions for having previously registered. You must only compete in a division where you are currently eligible. You will be moved if necessary, and even if the correct division is full. You will be permitted to move into that division overfilling the pool if necessary.

Refund & Withdrawal Policies
We adhere to the PDGA Competition Manual 1.03 for all registered players. Please refer to that document for a description.
Waitlisted Players:
We do not follow the PDGA guidelines for waitlisted players. Full refunds will be provided (with no fees retained and this is where we do not follow the guideline) for all waitlisted players at 8 PM on August 31st. PayPal & DiscGolfScene fees may apply.
Standard Registration Closes: August 23rd at 7pm. (No divisional changes will be allowed after this date).

$5 PDGA Player Fee
$3-11 Pay-to-Play Course Fee $11 Pool A, B, C, E $7 Pool D, H, I, J $3 Pool F, G
$5 TD Fee
$1 Bathroom Fee
$50 Player Pack Deduction
Players who registered and are now requesting to withdraw during the Early Registration MUST complete the withdraw request utilizing the Withdraw function on DiscGolfScene. These players will receive a refund minus $10 of their entry fee only.
Payouts: Great Lakes Disc will handle payouts off-site via vouchers redeemable for Discraft discs only. Additional non-disc golf manufacturer merchandise may be available at the discretion of GLD.
Trophies for 1st - 3rd place only.
Fairway to Heaven, Flip City, and Whiskey Creek are all pay-to-play installations. Any player wishing to practice at these courses must comply with all posted rules, policies, and course regulations. Players who are banned from any of these courses will not be allowed to compete on that course during the event.
