On June 17th, 2025, Shawn Bryan (a local disc golfer and league member to both the Breakers and Shore Acres disc golf clubs) was riding his one wheeler at the intersection of James and 120th in Holland, MI. He was struck by a car and seriously injured in such a way where he literally had to hold himself together while awaiting medical assistance. Shawn is recovering, and hopes to be walking again soon, but as with any major bodily (and mentally scarring) injury, he is without the means to work at the time being. Shawn has been a long time friend to the disc golf community, and I know how our community thrives in difficult situations such as this. What I'm asking is that you join us for a round at the Breakers course, showing your support through a donation of $20 to play a round that will have CTP's and LP's on every hole. All proceeds/donations from this tournament will go directly to Shawn, who we are hoping can be present for the tournament in person.
