About this tournament
Central FL Youth Disc Golf, aka, CFly Disc Golf is hosting the 3rd annual CFLY Classic Junior Championships, presented by DiscGolfCenter.com, as a grand finale event following our youth-focused 6-week PDGA sanctioned league for the 2024 spring season.
CFLY Disc Golf was founded to establish the first official organized juniors only disc golf program in the Central Florida area. Our mission is to establish more youth-focused disc golf events and educational programs to help develop future disc golfers in our area. This tournament is PDGA sanctioned as a C-tier. PDGA membership is NOT required for registration and there is no non-member fee required for junior players.
1 round (shotgun start) of 18 holes for 10 and under divisions (MJ/FJ08, MJ/FJ10) and 2 rounds (shotgun start) of 18 holes for 12 & up divisions (MJ/FJ12, MJ/FJ15, MJ/FJ18).
Tee Assignments: (SUBJECT TO CHANGE BASED ON REGISTRATIONS)
Round 1:
MJ&FJ08/FJ10, = Alpha - Short Tees (w/ some shorter temp tees) to Red Baskets
MJ10, MJ&FJ12, FJ15 = Alpha - Short Tees to Red Baskets
MJ15, MJ&FJ18 = Alpha - Long Tees to Red Baskets
Round 2:
All divisions 12& Up = Barwick - Short Tees to Yellow Baskets
Each player will receive a player's pack valued over $40.
True Amateur trophy only format. No merchandise payout.
CTP prizes available for every division!
20 minute pro warm up clinic before round 1.
Lunch will be provided for all players at the conclusion of round 1. Parents & non-participants will have the option of purchasing lunch for $5.
Raffle tickets will be available for lots of cool disc golf merchandise at the conclusion of each awards ceremony. Each player will get 1 free raffle ticket and additional tickets can be purchased for $2 for single tickets, $8 for 5x tickets, or $15 for 10x tickets.
Live Digital Scoring will be used for this event. Instructions will be provided along with paper scorecards as a backup.
