Dinton Warmup 2022
Dinton Pastures Country Park
Presented by Berkshire Disc Golf Club
OVERVIEW
Welcome to the first Dinton Warmup presented by Berkshire Disc Golf Club. The aim of this tournament is to ease our way into the 2022 season with a relaxed, chilled, and hopefully good weather (jinxed it) tournament, in addition to helping me (the TD) understand the shenanigans of running a PDGA event in preparation for the Berkshire Disc Golf Amateur Tour 2022. So bear with me.
Pepe Espinosa
SCHEDULE
Round 1 is scheduled to start at 9:30
Round 2, scheduled to start circa 14:00 (at least one hour after Round 1 finishes)
After the second round there will be no awards ceremony, the price vouchers will be sent digitally.
COURSE LAYOUT
For both rounds of the tournament, we will be playing the standard white layout. If you are unfamiliar with this layout you can watch this video.
A hole by hole breakdown of the layout is provided at the end of this document.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Dinton Pastures Country Park is a public space and park goers take priority over disc golf.
In the hole by hole breakdown (at the end of this document), the obligatory spotter positions per hole are shown. No card should tee off without receiving a ‘clear to throw’ signal.
Toilets are available at the Activity Centre and at the Firefly Cafe. The overall map shows their location in relation to the car parks and disc golf holes.
Food is available at the Activity Centre and the Firefly Cafe, but due to the limited amount of time between rounds, it is advised to pack your own food as no extra time will be allocated for a 3 course meal.
Due to the nature of the teepads and the weather during this time of the year, please take care when throwing, as some stances might be hazardous to play from. In the case that a teepad becomes dangerous due to the weather and/or usage during the day please use common sense and tee in a slightly different position. Safety comes first.
