Dinosaur Valley Open

Dinosaur Valley is a hidden gem in Rattan, OK built from nothing by long time disc golfer Sean Montgomery, #7312. Sean has invited golfers of all caliber out to compete in the 1st ever PDGA sanctioned event at his course!

This will be a 2 round event. A pool will play 1 round from the red tees and 1 round from blues. B pool will play 2 rounds from the reds.

A Pool: All Pro divisions, MA1, MA40, MA50
B Pool: MA2, MA60, MA3, Am Women Divisions, Juniors

There will be a bounty for the course record in a sanctioned event, which is sure to be set as this is the first sanctioned event! There will also be a few special games and challenges such as hidden dinosaurs, CTPs, etc.



Entry Fee Breakdown:

Pro - $50 Entry
$45 - Payout
$5 - Fees (PDGA & Dojo)


Am - $25-50 Entry

$20 - Players Packs
$5 - Fees (PDGA & Dojo)
$15-25 - Payout (Varies per division)

Rec divisions will get players packs and compete for trophies. There will be no payout.



Players packs will include a custom stamped Innova disc and a Dinosaur Valley Pin.

Am payout will be in the form of merchandise credit redeemable at The Disc Golf dojo proshop on site.

Trophies will be awarded to 1st place in divisions with 3 or more players.

The Disc Golf Dojo is responsible for all refunds/cancellations.

Official 2022 refund and cancelation policy

If you need to cancel for this event, it must be made through Disc Golf Scene or by email to [email redacted]. Cancellations more than 3 days in prior to the event will receive a full refund minus a $5 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 3 days of the event date will receive a 75% refund minus the $5 cancellation fee.

If you fail to contact us to cancel your spot prior to the start of the event, you will forfeit your entry fee for that event. No player’s packages will be given to non-competitors in lieu of entry fees or store credit.

If you have to cancel but would still like a player's pack then you may choose to receive partial refund (varies by division) and get a player's pack while supplies last.

The $5 waitlist fee will not be refunded if you are not able to play the event.
