About this tournament
2 rounds of play
This is a 2 round doubles event at Dinosaur Valley DGC in Rattan, OK. If you've not visited DV then you are truly in for a treat! Sean and his crew have built something special and DV Doubles will showcase it fully.
One of the best parts of DV is the overnight experience. Camping is available for free at the course and all are welcome. Last year at Doubles we had a crawfish boil Friday night with plenty of food to go around. Expect more of the same this year along with glow golf, putting games, and campfire comradery!
Camping/RV
On-site tent camping is free to all!
For RV campers, there is an RV camp site 1/4 mile down the road from Dinosaur Valley.
For players staying Friday night, Sean will be hosting a crawfish boil! Leftovers will be available on Saturday for players not there Friday night.
Schedule
Round 1 will start at 10:00AM. Check in will be available from 8:30AM to 9:20AM. Amateur player's packs will be given out on a first come first serve basis.
Round 2 starts 1 hour after the last card turns in their score for round 1. Players can keep up with event updates on the Facebook event page.
Divisions
We encourage players to play up from the divisions that they would traditionally play in PDGA events.
Pro: The highest level. Payout will be in cash.
Mixed: Teams with 1 male and 1 female player. Payout in cash.
Pro 40+: Teams 40+ years in age. Payout in cash.
Advanced: Experienced amateur players. Payout in merchandise credit.
Amateur 40+: Amateur Teams 40+ years in age. Payout is in merchandise credit.
Beginner: New and less experienced players.
Amateur Women: Payout is in merchandise credit.
Awards and Payout
Pro divisions will pay out the top 3rd. Payment will be sent digitally on Monday, March 3rd.
Players who finish in the top 3rd of am divisions will be awarded merchandise credit to the on-site Disc Golf Dojo proshop. Payout can be used once all players have finished round 2 and will be published to the PDGA digital scorecard as well as the event's Disc Golf Scene page. Am payout expires 2 years from the day that it was earned. Payout for this event will expire on March 1st, 2027.

Doubles Formats
Round 1 will be 18 holes in Best Shot format. Round 2 will feature 6 holes of each Worst Shot, Best Score, and Alternating.
Best Shot
Each team chooses which lie they play. Classic scramble golf. May the birdies abound!
Worst Shot
The team will play from whichever lie is determined to be the worst by the opposing team on the card. This can get nasty.
Best Score
Each player completes the hole solo. The team then takes the better of the two results. Call in the ringer.
Alternating
Teammates will alternate throws. Player A tees off. Player B throws the upshot. Player A attempts the putt. Some would argue the hardest form of partner golf.
