About this tournament

This tournament is a fundraiser for Dwight "Dewey" Lewis who is recovering from a traumatic brain injury. Dwight is a founding father of our league @ our beloved course and a brother in the family here at Whitehall. We are hoping to have an "everybody wins" type event and raise a little cash for his expenses. There will be 2 rounds of a "deuce" race. 18 holes @ Whitehall Township DGC where some tees will be altered to foster more deuce-ability. Round 2 will be a glow deuce race @ a temporary private course (I like to call Funabashi City) next to WTDGC. During this absolutely ridiculous and fun round we have hired the veteran jam band Big Tobacco to perform on a stage overlooking the glow course. Campers are welcome at this event for Saturday night. We will pay out handsomely to the winning team members with prize packs. Prizes will be top of the line plastic, gift certificates, whizz-bangs, doo-dads and what-nots valued at $50 and up.

-$25 entry fee for Disc golf, party, and camping
-$15 for party and camping only
-Registration open 2pm
-1st round tee off 3pm @ WTDGC
-2nd round tee off dusk @ Funabashi City
-Costumes welcome
-Limited food available for sale @ Funabashi City
-Many $1 contests for prizes during the break
-Scoring: 1pt for a deuce and 3pts for aces. (no pts for metal) The top 6 players from round 1 will be team captains and 6 random teams will be formed for the glow round. Each team will have different colored glow devices. (Glow devices must be worn during play) The 1st round individual scores will be added together with your random draw team mates for the 2nd round. The team with the most points wins a prize pack for each player. Sound confusing? Great!

The field will be capped @ 48.
