About this tournament

The Desert Oasis Ams is a 1-day, 2-round, shotgun-start, PDGA C-Tier Tournament.

Our goal is to provide an exceptional player experience. We do that by 1.) offering an outstanding player pack 2.) running a well organized and efficient event and 3.) creating a fun community vibe. The player pack will contain some Innova Champion Halo plastic, in lighter weights with a custom event logo. We will be providing a performance tee-shirt, also with a custom screen, 2 minis, a lunch coupon and a nice tote bag to carry it all in! To get the size shirt you want, you must register before the end of the day, Friday, November 15th. After that, sizes will be on a first come-first serve basis. THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO PLAY THE MEMORIAL LAYOUT IN TOURNAMENT CONDITIONS!!
We plan to lay out the course exactly as it will be for the Memorial, which will be held on January 16-20. For all of you who plan to play in the Memorial, there is no better practice than 2 competitive rounds a few weeks before the event.

This is a first come, first serve event. The number of players in each division will be determined by those that sign up first. We encourage you to sign up as soon as possible.

Custom trophies will be awarded for divisions with four (4) or more players. The trophy cut-off with be 3 weeks prior to the event. First place trophies are working clocks and 2nd, 3rd and 4th are very nice as well!!

Fountain Hills Express is offering a nearly 20% discount off of lunch. The coupon we provide will allow you to buy a 6" ham, turkey or roast beef sandwich, a 1.75oz. bag of chips and a 12 oz drink. They are located at the SW corner of Saguaro Blvd and Panorama Dr., a 2 minute drive from the course.

The pass throughs for the event are $1,125 (Town of Fountain Hills) and $2 per player PDGA fee.

Refund policy

Riley Turner is responsible for all refunds and cancellations. Registration and the waitlist will close on December 21st. We will follow section 1.03 of the PDGA Competition Manual. Anyone who is on the waitlist prior to December 21st who gets into the tournament will have to select from whatever shirt sizes we may have available at check in
