COURSES/LAYOUTS:
All divisions will play the Red Course using the normal 18-hole layout.
----------------------------
TEAM REGISTRATION & TEE TIMES:
Registrations are done as a team. One teammate must register both teammates at once and choose the same tee time and same division. Tee times and cards of 2 teams/4 players can include a mix of divisions. Tee times are available every 10 minutes starting at 9am and the same tee time must be chosen for both players on a team during registration.
---------------------------
DIVISIONS:
We have purposefully limited the number of divisions available in an effort to offer larger payouts. The highest rated player on each team must qualify for the division the team is competing in. Lower rated players can always play in higher divisions. If you don't have a PDGA rating, contact us for help picking which division would best suit your skill level.
A waitlist has been enabled and divisions will be adjusted 1 month prior to the event. At this time if a division has 0 entries it may no longer be available. No fee is associated with joining the waitlist. If promoted off the waitlist, you will have 72 hours to complete your registration and make payment in full otherwise your spot may be offered to the next team on the waitlist.
---------------------------
PLAYER CHECK-IN:
Players should check-in in the clubhouse at least 15 minutes before their scheduled tee time to make sure UDisc scoring is set up properly, and get CTP info.
---------------------------
LIVE SCORING:
Scoring will be handled using UDisc.
To keep score, you must have a UDisc account (free or pro version). Please provide your UDisc username during registration in the field provided so you can be added to the UDisc event and scoring can be enabled properly. If you don't have a UDisc account already, sign up for a free account at udisc.com.
At least 1 player per card must keep score using UDisc Event scoring. A 2nd player should pay attention to the UDisc scorecard to confirm scores are entered properly, or keep a backup scorecard using another method.
To start a scorecard for this event, follow these steps:
1. Open UDisc and go to the Events tab.
2. Locate and click on the "Kayak Point DGR - Hucktoberfest" event.
3. Click the Start Scorecard button and you should see it preloaded with everyone on your card at your designated tee time.
4. Keep score by entering the total strokes for each hole for each player.
9. After completing the last hole, double check scores, save, and submit the scorecard to make it final.
---------------------------
COURSE NOTES FOR THIS EVENT:
Players may take up to 1 meter of relief from large logs that line cart paths if they hinder a lie or run-up.
---------------------------
PRIZES & AWARDS:
Players who's teams place in the top 50% of each division will receive scrip/pro shop store credit that will be loaded onto gift cards that never expire. Trophies will also be awarded to the 1st place winners in each division. Players will have 90 days after the event to pick up player packs, trophies, prizes, and any winnings. After 90 days, the items will be forfeited. If you sign up for a division that has no other players in it within 14 days of the event, a trophy may not be available based on ability to complete it in short notice. If there is a tie for 1st place and players are present for a playoff, a sudden death playoff will begin on hole 1 of the same course and layout just played. If players are not present to complete the playoff, we cannot guarantee a trophy for each player that tied.
