It's glow season and Disc In The Dark is coming to Charlie Vettiner!

We are excited to partner with Disc In The Dark and to host a Bring Your Own Partner (BYOP) doubles fundraiser at Charlie Vettiner Disc Golf Course. Our Bright Light Friday Night Flight will be made possible with 18 new basket lights provided by Disc In The Dark.

Schedule:

Registration opens Monday 11/6 at noon.

The event/round will be on Friday 12/1 from 6:00 PM until finish.

Check-In will be from 5:15 to 5:45. Followed by a brief Player's Meeting at 5:50.

Event Details:

This is a BYOP fundraiser event. There are no ratings caps, no divisions, and no payouts. Play with whoever you'd like, just plan on having some fun and meeting some new people.

We will play best-shot doubles on the short layout, meaning we will use the short tees for holes 3, 8, 11, 13, 17, and 18. We may have some additional modifications to the "normal" layout, those details will be provided at the Player's Meeting.

To be clear, this is a normal round where you can use your entire bag of glow discs.

Price:

$32 per person or $64 per team.

$22 per player will go towards player packs and CTPs, the other $10 goes directly to the course’s improvement fund that we started with the Trilogy Challenge earlier this year. We appreciate your support.

Player Packs:

Each player will receive a Kastaplast K1 (premium plastic) Glow Berg, Glow Reko, or a Limited Edition 4S Glow Wizard as your player's pack. The Wizard will come with a glow mini.

Just to be clear, each player will receive 1 of the above 3 discs (2 per team and they do not have to be the same). You can make your selection on the registration page. I will order based on your selections, but I have to order by 11/20 so be sure to sign up in time if you want to guarantee you get your preference.

Ace Pot:

There is an optional $5 ace pot. If an ace is not hit during the round, we will have a post-round ace race to decide the winner.

CTPs and Prizes:

After you and your teammate check in, we will have a pre-round CTP on hole 1 for a free Disc In The Dark HALO for the winner to use during their round. See the product details here:

Of the 18 CTPS, we plan to have 2 Juniors Only CTPs and 2 Women Only CTPs, depending on our numbers.
