About this tournament
Welcome to the Dawg Fight - first ever disc golf tournament hosted by UGA Disc Golf Club - 2021 College Disc Golf National Champions! This event will be a PDGA sanctioned C-tier 1 day, 2 rounds of 20 holes at Sandy Creek Park in Athens, GA. This event is a fundraiser tournament that will help the UGA Disc Golf Club with tournament and travel expenses for the upcoming collegiate season! Thank you in advance for your support.
The first round will be skipping holes 1A-7A and the second round will be skipping holes 1-7.
Hole sponsorships will be available for $20. Hole sponsors can register one week early for the tournament to secure your spot in the tournament. Hole sponsorship will include an advertisement with your name/club name/business name at one of the tees during the tournament.
MPO / MP40 / MA1 will play from the blue tees both rounds.
MA2 / MA40 / MA50 / MA60 / FPO will play from the white tees both rounds.
MA3 / FA3 will play from the red tees both rounds.
This event will be a trophy only event for all amateurs. All divisions with 10 or more players will have trophies for top 3 in each division, and all other divisions will have a trophy for 1st place. MPO will have trophies for top 3 players.
All Amateur players will receive a players pack that is sponsored by Prodigy Disc - It will include 2 UGA National Champions stamped Prodigy discs TBD as well as other snacks/goodies that will be included.
Lunch will be provided at Sandy Creek park. Lunch will be BBQ sandwiches with chips and water provided.
Ace fund will be an optional $5 per player and will be paid out 100% if hit by anyone who is in the ace pot for either round. Ace pot will be evenly split if multiple aces are hit. If no ace is hit, there will be a CTP throw off after both rounds and will be paid out 50% to the CTP, with the other 50% going to the UGA Disc Golf Club.
Side action CTPs will also be available day of tournament. More details to come for side action CTPs.
There will be a putting competition following the awards ceremony at the end of the competition that will not be included in the entry fee, and you can pay for it day of tournament.
There will be a raffle that will be drawn during the awards ceremony. It will include multiple discs to multiple winners
The waitlist will cost the full registration cost, but you will be refunded if your spot does not become available before the tournament.

Refund policy
UGA Disc Golf Club is responsible for all refunds/cancellations.
If you are requesting a refund after August 19th, and your spot does not get filled in the tournament, you will receive a partial refund and your players pack will be mailed to you.
