Welcome to the Davis County Throw Down. This exciting 5 round event will be played over 6 days from May 6, 2024- May 11, 2024. We have many beautiful courses in the county and the disc golf community is growing bigger and bigger. Please grab some friends, and teach them the game of disc golf while introducing them to the many beautiful courses we have. This event will consist of 1 round at the 5 following courses:
CLINTON CITY DGC (Clinton, UT)- Park style 9 hole course with fun lines and interesting distances.
GREYHAWK DGC (Layton, UT)- Mix of park style and tightly wooded 9 hole course where shot shaping and distance control is a premium.
DAVIS TECHNOLOGY COLLEGE (Kaysville, UT)- 13 holes with open fairways and great chances for creativity.
FREEDOM HILLS PARK (Centerville, UT)- Amazing 9 hole course with high roll a way potential, scenic wildlife, and amazing views
MILLS PARK (Woods Cross, UT)- Park Style course with 12 challenging holes, distance, and tough concrete OB's.
Scoring will be kept on Udisc. The scorecards will be under the events tab. Create your own card of 3-5 people, choose a time and course, and go have fun playing. PDGA rules will be observed and you must keep the same card of people for all of your rounds. Rounds can be played on any day between May 6-11, at anytime, and courses can be played in any order. Play all 5 courses in 1 day if you want, or play 1 course each day, the choice is yours.
This is a prize only event where registered winners will be contacted via email. All registered players will receive an Infinite Discs gift card via email as part of their players pack. Proceeds from the tournament will be donated to the Beehive Classic which is a Disc Golf Pro Tour Q-Series Event. You are highly encouraged to register and play the amazing Beehive Classic.
