Frederick Deaf Disc Golf Club (FDDGC) Presents: DMO26
The Frederick Deaf Disc Golf Club (FDDGC) warmly welcomes disc golfers and friends to historic Frederick, Maryland—home of the Maryland School for the Deaf and the iconic clustered spires of downtown Frederick and surrounding.
Tournament Overview
FDDGC is excited to host our 5th major tournament in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) area. DMO26 marks our fifth consecutive year, featuring a 2-round XC-tier event sanctioned by PDGA. Additionally, players have the option to participate in Pro-Am doubles on Friday afternoon/evening.
Live Scoring: Available through UDisc and PDGA.
Prizes & Awards:
Open Division: Cash prizes & awards after deducting $15 for the disc and shirts.
Amateur Divisions: Awards & merchandise payouts after deducting $15 for the disc and shirts.
Venue & Course Details
With the support of local disc golf group Fredrock, we are thrilled to present a premier and challenging course at Woodsboro Regional Park, Maryland. Expect fierce competition and plenty of fun throughout the event.
Lunch: Please bring your own lunch. We will have a 45-minute lunch break after the last card of the first round is completed.
Player Packs & Registration
Player Pack Registration Deadline: Players must register by Friday August 28th, at 8 PM to receive a player pack.
FDDGC will provide an exclusive player pack for amateur players, including:
Am player will get the stamped discs up to first 40 registrations
All players registered by August 28th, will receive event T-shirts.
Division Information:
A minimum of 3 players is required to hold a division.
Trophies are awarded to division winners.
Payouts:
PRO divisions: Paid via PayPal
AM divisions: Merchandise payout (TBD)
Tee Assignments:
All PRO divisions & MA1 – 1st round: (Blue to Yellow) 2nd round: (Blue to White)
MA40, MA50, MA2 – (Blue to Yellow) both rounds
MA3, All FA divisions, MJ18, FJ18 – (Red to Yellow) both rounds
Closest to the Pin (CTP) Competitions:
First Round – Open to All Players: Hole 9
Second Round – For Players Who Paid for CTP
MPO: Hole 8
All MA divisions: Hole 18
All FA divisions: Hole 6
Eligibility & Special Notes:
This tournament is exclusively for Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and CODA players.
Hearing Players:
If you mistakenly registered, you will be refunded.
If you wish to donate your registration fee to FDDGC, your contribution will be greatly appreciated and acknowledged on the tournament sponsor/donation list.
Sponsorship Opportunities:
FDDGC welcomes sponsorships and donations. Sponsors will be recognized with hole signage and promotional acknowledgments.
