About this tournament

Welcome to the 2026 Dairyland Championship!

This will be a 2-round B-Tier/C-Tier event, that will also serve as the final event of the 2026 Tri-Fox points series. Since this is the final event in the series, it will be scored at 4x the points value. This will be the last chance to score points for the 2025 season and claim the illustrious Tri-Fox Season Long Championship as well as the Dairyland Championship.

The Dairyland Championship will have tiered invites this year. Tier 1 will go to anyone that won a Tri-Fox event throughout the season. Tier 2 will be the top 5 in each division leaderboard. Tier 3 will be anyone who has participated in at least 1 Tri-Fox event throughout the season. Then the tournament will be open for anyone to join.

This tournament will be a B-tier for pros and C-tiers for Amateur divisions. We hope this will make the tournament more accessible for the amateur divisions.

There will be $750 added cash to the Pro purse.

In addition, we collected $1 per player per Tri-Fox event throughout the year. The $1 per player will go directly to the payouts for that division. So if a tournament had 35 players in MA3, that $35 goes towards the payout for the MA3 division at the Dairyland Championship. This will be in addition to the standard payouts. The following totals are as follows:

MPO - $100
MP40 - $65
MP50 and up - $18
FPO - $4
MA1 - $162
MA2 - $235
MA3 - $337
MA4 - $204
MA40 - $75
MA50 and up - $67
FA divisions - $52
FA40 and up - $15
MJ Divisions - $19
FJ Divisions - $3

On Saturday, after the rounds conclude, the courses will be available to play glow rounds, and Summer Trails will once again be available to play under the lights.

On Sunday, Woodpecker Alley will be hosting a flex style event for anyone that wants to play a rated tournament round on that course.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase all weekend long from Alpine Valley.

Rooms are available at a discounted rate for the weekend at Alpine Valley, so that players can spend the weekend at Alpine and take part of all the disc golf activity happening during the Dairyland Championship.

We look forward to having you join us!

I have left a breakdown of the points system for those that are interested in seeing how the points will play out for this final tournament.

Players will earn points playing Tri-Fox events throughout the season. A player will earn 1 point for each person they beat in their division, as well as 1 point for participating in that division. If a player takes first place and they have a total of 31 players in their division, they will have beaten 30 players and will earn 30 points plus the 1 participation point, bringing their total to 31 points.

Tournament points will be weighted as follows:
Flexes = 1x Multiplier
C-Tier = 2x Multiplier (2-round)
B-Tier = 3x Multiplier
Dairyland Championship = 4x Multiplier

If based on your rated you are in between two divisions. We are looking into a way that a player could declare their eligibility for their new division. If they official declared they were moving divisions, they would be removed from the current division they are in and would then be able to take 50% of their points with them to the new division. It is recommended to play in the higher division if you are concerned about being forced up a division when your rating goes up.
