About this tournament
Who doesn't love a good raffle? We are going to try something new this year. We are going to raffle off entries for 2024 events. Yes, you can use them in the remaining 2023, if you would like if you are a winner.
The prizes are:
1st Grand Prize - Entry to every Crossover event you want to play in remaining 2023 all the way through 2024 (non-transferable)
2nd Prize - Entry to 8 different Crossover events you would like to play in remaining 2023 all the way through 2024 (non-transferable)
3rd Prize - Entry to 5 different Crossover events you would like to play in remaining 2023 all the way through 2024 (non-transferable)
In 2023, Crossover merchandise expanded quite a bit. And while it is a great thing, there are some other things we would like to do to help better our events all around and to hopefully have some bigger ticket options as well. Enter the raffle. All monies collected, yes 100%, will go towards Crossover expenses.
Here's how this will work. In order of purchases, numbers will be assigned to the person who buys the raffle tickets. We will start with the number 3200 and go until the last ticket sold at 6p on 10/15. We will have a link posted in the comment section of the DGS event with everyone's name and ticket numbers for transparency and accountability. On 10/15 at 8p, we will do a live draw on our Crossover Facebook page to announce the winners using a random generator to provide the winning numbers. The first name drawn will be the Grand Prize winner, the second name will be the 2nd Prize winner, and the third name will be the 3rd Prize winner.
Tickets are as follows:
$10 gets you 10 tickets
$20 gets you 25 tickets
$30 gets you 40 tickets
$40 gets you 55 tickets
$50 gets you 75 tickets
I explored different ways to collect the raffle tickets. The best way to funnel and collect seemed to be through DGS vs online raffle sites. Yes, there is a small fee to use this, but it is less than raffle sites who work off of your fees, then the fees to get the monies collected. Please note, you do not have to have a PayPal account to use the DGS registration link. Even though it says "Check Out With PayPal", once you click on the link, there is an option for Credit/Debit card.
