    Round 1 begins at 10am (shotgun start on Main layout)

    12:00pm - 1:00pm

    1 hour lunch break begins once all cards have submitted round 1 scores

    1:00pm - 3:00pm

    1. QUALIFICATION FOR THE FINAL ROUND
    Only the top 30% of players from Round 1 qualify for the Dethmatch finale round. Ties qualify. Meaning, if 20 total players compete, 6 qualify, but if two players tie for the 6th spot, both advance, making 7 finalists.

    2. CARD SETUP
    If more than 10 players make it into the finale, players will be split into cards of 4 or 5. Card assignments will be determined by scores from Round 1. Each card will begin on hole 1, with the lead card teeing off last.

    3. ELIMINATION RULES
    If you card a bogey or worse during the final round, you’re out. Only par or better keeps you alive.

    4. MERGING RULES
    If everyone else on your card is eliminated, you’ll merge with the next group as follows:
    – If there’s a group behind the single player, he/she will wait for the group to catch up and merge at the next tee.
    – If there’s no group behind, the group ahead will wait at the next tee for the single player to catch up.
    – If needed, the single player will complete their next holes solo (under TD supervision) until a merge happens.

    5. WINNER
    After 18 holes, the last bogey-free player standing with the lowest total score for the round is crowned Dethputt Champion! If two or more players are eliminated on the same hole and no players remain, the player with the lowest score for the round at that point is the winner. Scores from Round 1 will be used to break a tie if two or more players finish at the same time with the same Round 2 scores.

The legendary rockstar known as Dethputt has clawed his way out of the grave to host an epic Legends of the Chains tournament. Will you rise to the top or be buried in bogeys?

EVENT DETAILS:
Shredding or putting, Dethputt never holds back. That’s why this event is cranked up to 11 with a brutal two-round format...

ROUND 1: ALL PLAYERS
– Each player chooses their own LotC character card to use for the entire event
– Singles, stroke play, following standard LotC Rules
– Layout will be the Main 18 hole configuration (silver baskets)

ROUND 2: ONLY THE TOP 30%
– Only the top 30% of players with the lowest scores from Round 1 will advance to round 2 (e.g., the top 12 players advance if there are 40 participants, 9 if there are 30 participants, and so forth)
– Each player uses the same character card they chose for round 1
– Layout will be on a custom safari-style configuration designed by Dethputt (to be shared soon)
– Survivor-style: Any player who cards a bogey or worse during round 2 is eliminated
– The last player remaining bogey-free and with the lowest score is declared to be a Legend of the Chains!

HANDICAPS:
– Women: –2 strokes per round
– Juniors (16 & under) and Seniors (60+): –1 stroke per round
– Women Juniors and Seniors: –3 per round

PRIZES & PAYOUTS:
– $5 per player goes to payouts for top 3 finishers (50% to 1st, 30% to 2nd and 20% to 3rd)
– The overall winner will receive a one-of-a-kind 2025 LotC "Dethmatch" trophy
– At least 3 CTP prizes will be available for all participants to win during round 1
– Costume contest: prizes for the top 3 who dress up! (as judged by LotC's very own Phoebe Fletcher)

– Your choice of 1 Gateway disc (Wizard, Ghoul or Speed Demon)
– 1 new Signature Series card (Chandler Kramer as "The Ghoul")
– 2 Local Legend cards: Rock King & Parliament of Cross Farms

REFUND POLICY:
– Requests for refunds made within 48 hours of the event are not guaranteed. If you're unable to attend the event at the last minute, player pack items can be shipped at cost.
