About this tournament

Welcome to the 2026 Cowtown Throwdown, supported by Innova Disc Golf and presented by Roller Ace Promotions. This is a 2-round, PDGA sanctioned C-tier and SoCal Disc Golf Club Series event at Prado Regional Park in Chino, California. We will be adding some additions to the course to create a more demanding layout than what is normally played.

Each amateur player will receive a custom event-stamped Innova disc and will be playing for scrip payouts to a disc golf shop (DTW or other online shop). Pros will be playing for payouts through PayPal.

Lunch is provided for all players for this event (yes, even the pros). Please make your selection during registration. You can selected hot dogs with or without bacon or a veggie burger. We will also have sides and drinks to go with lunch.

There is an ace pot for the event. If an ace is hit and the player who made it paid into the ace pot, they win the pot! If multiple players hit aces and win the pot, it will be split evenly among those players. If no ace is hit, then it will be donated to a disc golf related charity or function. Last year, even though it was hit, the player donated it to help with costs for a disc golfer that had passed away unexpectedly the week before.

Non-PDGA members are welcome to play in this event since it is a C-tier. There is a $15 temporary membership fee to the PDGA if you are not a current member for 2026. If you want to get a PDGA membership and don't know how, let Josh or Nate know and we can help you.

This is a SoCal Series event. Current 2026 SoCal Disc Golf Club members earn points towards the 2026 SoCal Series. If you are not a current member, there is a $5 non-member fee.
