About this tournament
Cougar Lake is back and we are celebrating by bringing 3 days of post-Thanksgiving fun to the course! Flex Start Singles on Friday, 2 Round Doubles on Saturday, and an afternoon Shotgun Start on Sunday! In addition to all of that there will be FREE camping all weekend, glow rounds galore, and even an MVP Space Race on Saturday night! Come experience one of Arkansas' best courses!
Black Friday Flex Start
This event features 2 ways to play; PDGA Sanctioned Singles or Unsanctioned Doubles. Players may tee at any time between 10am-2pm. Groups must have 3 players to begin play.

A Pool - Long Tees
MPO, MP40, MP50, MA1, Pro Doubles
B Pool - Short Tees
FPO, MP60+, MA40+, MA2, MA3, MA4, FA, JR, Am Doubles

Entry Fees
Flex Start Entry is $20 per person with an optional $5 Ace Pot Buy In. Cougar Lake charges no green fees to play. Please consider making a course donation with registration as well.
All entry fees will be collected at the course in an effort to avoid Paypal and DGS fees. The only online payment that will be collected is the temporary PDGA membership fee.
Cougar Lake Donations
Cougar Lake is a privately owned and maintained course. Grant puts in a lot of time and passion to bring you such a large and epic course. There are no green fees to play and funding is donation based. Please consider helping the cause by making a donation to the course during the event.
Ace Pot
Ace pot entry is $5 per player. If no aces are hit during the day then the ace pot will be donated to the course fund.
Check In
Players will check in at tournament central located near hole 1 and the parking lot. PLAYERS MUST CHECK IN BEFORE THEY BEGIN PLAY OR WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. Payment will be collected at check in. Event staff will coordinate groups for play and discuss course rules with groups before teeing.
CTP's & Early Registration
Registration can be done online or on site. Online Preregistration is preferred and will enter you to participate in 4 Closest-To-The-Pin challenges if done by 8:00pm the evening before the event! We accept cash, card, and Venmo on site for registration.
With the change in how payment is collected, anyone who registers early and does not attend the event will ineligible to compete for CTP's at future events.
Payout
$15 of each entry fee is collected for the purse for this event. Payout will be awarded to the top 45% of each division using the PDGA payout scale. Pro divisions will be paid in cash or digitally after the event. Amateur players will win a merchandise credit to The on-site Disc Golf Dojo proshop.
Payout will be available and published to Disc Golf Scene once all players have completed their rounds and after 6pm. Payout can be redeemed the day of the event or at any future Disc Golf Dojo event. Follow us on Disc Golf Scene and get notified where we are each weekend.
Am payout will expire 2 years after the date it is awarded.
There will be no trophies for this event.
