About this tournament

Cossar Spring Classic will take place at the beautiful George P. Cossar State Park in Oakland, MS. You can check it out here: https://www.mdwfp.com/parks-destinations/park/george-p-cossar-state-park. You can make a cabin or campsite reservation here: https://reserve.mdwfp.com/

This will be a one day, two round B-tier tournament on March 15. Check in will begin at 7:30 am with the first round beginning at 9 am. The second round will begin approximately one hour after the first round is complete. Friends of Cossar State Park will be providing lunch on site for a fee, you can purchase lunch on site from the Friends of Cossar (cash only), they will be serving pulled pork sandwiches. We suggest packing a lunch if you do not buy lunch from the Friends of Cossar as there is nowhere real close. Please consider sponsoring a tee box for $35. You can choose this option during registration, please email text you would like on sign to the tournament director.

We will have a short awards ceremony after the event to award trophies to all the winners. Disc and That will be on site for amateur payout and for you to spend your player pack voucher.

Pool A (MPO, MP40, MA1) will play Eagle's Nest (long course) twice.
Pool B (FPO, MP50, MP60, MA40, MA50, MA2, MA3) will play both courses.
Pool C (everyone else) will play the OG course (short course) twice.
Pools and Layouts are subject to change.

Pro entry fee breakdown:
$60 entry
$4 to PDGA
$3 to the state park (don't pay entry fee to park on day of event)
$3 to Cossar DG club
$50 to payout

Amateur entry fee breakdown:
$50 entry
$4 to PDGA
$3 to the state park (don't pay entry fee to park on day of event)
$3 to Cossar DG club
$20 player pack voucher
$20 to payout

Refund policy

Disc and That is responsible for all refunds/cancellations

Players MUST request withdrawal through the Withdraw button on Disc Golf Scene or by sending an email to the tournament director.

Discussions with persons other than the Tournament Director, including other tournament staff, shall not be considered official.

Posting your request to withdraw in the Comments section does not constitute withdrawal.

Players who officially request to withdraw from the event by February 22 will receive a 100% refund

Players who officially request to withdraw from the event February 23 through March 14 will receive a 100% cash refund, ONLY if their spot in the tournament is filled by another player from the waitlist. If the player’s spot is NOT filled, the TD will ship the player pack to the player at the player's expense unless the player can make other arrangements for delivery.
