The Cornwall Classic returns to Cornwall Park this fall for its 29th running, carrying forward a community tradition that stretches back more than two decades. Hosted by the Whatcom Disc Golf Club, the Classic is an unsanctioned, one-day showcase that reimagines Cornwall with a custom pop-up layout—combining the park’s permanent baskets with additional temp targets to create an expanded 21-hole track through the unique urban forest that is Cornwall Park.

The course map will be finalized and posted two weeks prior to the tournament.

Players will compete in two rounds on the day, with divisions for all skill levels, followed by awards and the annual fundraising raffle.

Player Packs and Payouts
Players in amateur divisions will receive a tournament stamped disc, cash payout to the top 40% of each division.

Players in professional divisions will earn a cash payout to the top 40% of each division.

A limited selection of additional tournament stamp discs will be available for purchase at $20 each.

Trophies
Trophies for the top three per division will be awarded based on division size.

1-4 Players: 1st place only.
5-11 Players: 1st and 2nd place.
12+ Players: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies.

100% of entry fees, added cash from WDGC, and additional funds from hole sponsors will be paid out minus the operating costs.

Professional Payouts = entry fee ($30) - share of park rental fee ($3.50 per player) - trophy cost ($14 ea.)

Amateur Payouts = entry fee ($30) - share of park rental fee ($3.50 per player) - trophy cost ($14 ea.) - player pack disc ($15 ea.)

The Cornwall Classic is an important annual club fundraiser that helps the WDGC maintain courses and continue work to expand course access in Whatcom County. The Classic is also an opportunity to showcase the popularity of disc golf and highlight how access in mixed-use parks can be both viable and beneficial for the whole community.

Beyond tournament day, stay tuned for Cornwall Park work parties. In partnership with the city, we will be working to spread mulch and install protections to help reduce soil compaction and tree scarring—ensuring the park stays healthy and playable for years to come.

If no aces are hit, the Ace Pot will carry over to the Mossy Roc Ice Bowl 2026.

Refunds will be issued minus processing fees. Withdrawals 15+ days before will receive a full refund. Withdrawals 8–14 days before will receive a full refund if the spot is filled, otherwise 50%. Withdrawals within 7 days will receive a full refund if filled from the waitlist, otherwise 25%. No refunds will be issued within 48 hours of the event unless the spot is filled.

Waitlisted players may withdraw at any time for a full refund of their waitlist fee (minus nominal handling). If the event is cancelled, all players will receive a full refund; if rescheduled, players may request a full refund if they cannot attend.

All withdrawal requests must be made directly through Disc Golf Scene.
