About this tournament
Corner Brook Disc Golf is hosting a tournament at the Corner Brook Disc Golf Course on Sunday June 25th. This will be a one-day, two-round PDGA-sanctioned C-tier tournament that is open to all players.
Registration is $30. Player packs in the amateur divisions will include Corner Brook Disc Golf merchandise and a baseline disc (can be upgraded to premium plastic for $10). Trophies will be awarded to winners in each division.
The goal of the tournament is to introduce tournament play to new players while allowing experienced players an opportunity to compete. Individuals are free to register in any division they choose, but we are suggesting that individuals who started playing in 2023 register in MA3/FA3, individuals who started playing in 2022 register in MA2/FA2, and anyone that started playing in 2021 or before register in MA1/FA1. There are also junior and professional divisions. During the first round on Sunday morning, divisions will be mixed, as much as division make-up allows. During the second round on Sunday afternoon, players will be grouped by division.
PDGA sanctioning provides insurance for the event, in addition to tournament management infrastructure. Non-PDGA members must pay a one-off $10 fee as part of the registration process, but juniors do not need to pay this fee. If desired, PDGA memberships can be purchased at https://www.pdga.com/membership ($50 USD). Corner Brook Disc Golf members can receive $5 off a PDGA membership (you’ll receive a PDGA discount code as part of the CBDG membership process). There are also some small processing fees as part of the tournament registration process.
Additional details will be provided in a caddy book emailed to registered players before the tournament starts.

Corner Brook Disc Golf is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. The refund policy will follow that outlined by the PDGA (https://www.pdga.com/rules/competition-manual/103).
