About this tournament
EVENT IS NOW OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!!!
Sponsorship Invitational Test Event is for the disc golf community that is financially supporting the installation of a course at California Oaks Golf Course. Sponsors that are currently in good standing with the golf course will be contacted for entry. After they have responded, it will open to the public.
This will be a 1 day, 1 walking round, PDGA sanctioned event with tee times, on the Alpha course. Due to a security gate that must be used to enter The Colony, you will be given a group time to come thru the gate. Street parking will be available where marked. Golfers will still be playing on the back 9 holes, that some of you know as the Omega course.
$25 of the Professional players registration fee will be used towards payouts to 40% of the field. Amateur players will receive a Murrieta California Innova disc, chosen during registration. This is a trophy-only event for amateurs.
You will be able to purchase beverages and sandwiches from the Pro Shop following your round.
I have opened a waitlist that I will use to contact those interested when we have a second event. All funds from the waitlist will be used for tee pad installation. Glenn Duncan plans to install 56 tee pads so that during rainy weeks disc golfers will be very welcome at the course.
