About this tournament

Welcome to the inaugural Clash at Clarkson presented by Twin Lakes Disc Golf and activated by Discraft! TLDG is hosting a fundraiser tournament for the City of Clarkson as part of the 2023 Springfest at the Park. This will be a college style tournament that is a traditional 1-day, 2-round college format, with one round of singles and one round of team doubles.
FORMAT: Individuals will need to form a team of 4 people in order to play this tournament (no teams with less than 4 players will be allowed to participate in this event). Round 1 will be collegiate team doubles round followed by Round 2 as singles. Round 2 will take the scores from each team member from the singles round will be averaged, rounded in the teams favor in the case of a number that contains a .5 or better decimal, and will be posted as a single score. Your Round 1 team score plus your teams averaged Round 2 singles scores will be your tournament total for your team.
What is team doubles? Team doubles (AKA college doubles) is played with 4 people, 2 pairs of 2. One pair (ODD) will tee off on odd holes and the other (EVEN) will tee off on even holes. Teams then play alternate until the hole is finished out.

Costs and optional add ons:
$100/team ($25/person). This is a trophy-only event for winning team from each division. First 52 players signed up will receive a Discraft player pack that will include choice of a custom stamped disc.
Additional items per person (can be purchased the morning of the tournament):
-$2 ACE pool. If no ace is hit, all money will go to the City of Clarkson.
-$5 50/50 CTP. 50% of CTP pool goes TLDG, 50% of CTP Pool goes to 3 cash CTPs.
-Mulligans: 5 mulligans for $8 or 1 mulligan for $2. ONLY AVAILABLE FOR USE DURING SINGLES ROUND. Max 5 per person.
Profits from this event will be split between the Twin Lakes Disc Golf and the City of Clarkson for upgrades to facilities at the city park.

Amateur (MA1) - this division will have a rating cap of 3500 for the 4 players, with no individual ratings over 935. Unrated players will be given a 900 rating.
Round 1 will tee off at 9 AM Central, followed by a 1 hour lunch, then followed by round 2.
Awards presented following completion of Round 2.
