Labor Day Dubs for Children’s Cancer Connection is a fundraiser for the CCC. The CCC is a nonprofit organization that help support families in Iowa impacted by cancer. In the 1980’s the CCC started a children’s camp for children with cancer. I attended camp from 1994-2002 area & it was all because of the CCC & donations. I am running this fundraiser to help support the next family in need & send their child/children to the CCC camp!
Labor Day dubs was originated when Jamalle Castillo and I decided to run a last minute dubs tournament on a 27 hole layout at Ewing park, & it was a hit!!! 18 original holes & 9 temp holes! So why fix what isn’t broken! I will reserve & close the course for the tournament. 50% of entry goes to the CCC & the other 50 goes to payouts!
Also the first 40 players to pre register will receive a laser engraved CCC wood plank!
