The Child Care Services Branch of the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne is hosting our first Disc Golf Tournament fundraiser. The tournament will be held at Northside Park on Saturday, March 8th, 2025, from 10:00AM until 3:00PM, with the last round at 3:00PM. The purpose of this event is to raise funds that will assist low-income families with free or subsidized before and after school care as well as summer camp.

The YMCA Child Care Disc Golf Tournament will be a “Flex Start” as players and families can come up and register the day of, as well as online through Disc Golf Scene. The cost of entry will be $10 per adult and $5 for children 16 and under. We will have discs available for new players, a raffle for beginner disc golf sets, intermediate discs, and advanced discs. All players are welcome to attend. We are also allowing players to play multiple rounds, any additional round is $5 per player. Each paid round qualifies for an extra raffle ticket for these prizes. The Fort Wayne Disc Golf Lost & Found, run by Austin Kraner, have agreed to donate some used free discs to new players and kids that do not have equipment to participate so they may too enjoy the sport of Disc Golf and to grow the interest in our community.
