About this tournament
2 rounds of play
We will be returning to Shipwreck Bluffs at Lake Erie State park for this years Chautauqua Open.
There is a $7 entry fee for the park charged from 9am to 5pm starting 5/15 - 5/22 Weekends & Holidays only, then from 5/23 - 9/7 you have to pay the fee everyday
The tournament will consist of two 18-hole rounds, with a shotgun style start.
There will be a lunch break between rounds. The break begins when the last card finalizes their scores and will be 1 hour in duration.
Lunch will NOT be included in the registration cost of the tournament; however, there are a few options within 15 minutes of the course. If you leave the park for lunch you will have to pay to get back in
This year's AMs will receive a player's pack valuing $15. Additional information on players packs will be added as items are finalized.
Get ready for a great day of golf with good people and picturesque views. CTP awards for each division along with bountiful ace opportunities.
Pro payouts will be made via PayPal and AM payouts will be merchandise vouchers for our local shop, Hallux Disc golf. Hallux will be set up after the tournament so players can redeem their prize vouchers. Players who have not won a voucher but are interested in supporting Hallux are also free to shop the inventory.
Tee assignments will be:
MPO: Blue- Blue
FPO, MP40, MP50, MA1, and MA40: Blue- White
FP40, FP50, FA1, FA40, MA50, and MA2: White- White
FA50, FA2, and MA3: White - Red
FA3,: Red - Red
*Important course notes for this years tournment.*
The course does not have all of the red and blue tee markers in the ground at this time, therefore U-disc will be required to practice those layouts. The missing tees will be flagged the night prior to the tournement. I will be using U-disc for all tee placements.
Hole 11's original red, white, and blue tee boxes are obstructed by trees and a large pile of dirt. These tees will be moved to the left. Red will be Infront of the small culvert, while white & blue will be on the other side of it. I have uploaded an image to the pictures section showing where they will be placed.
You are also welcome to come join one of our Monday Night or Friday Night League Rounds prior to the tournament. We rotate between 3 different courses & the shedule can be found here: https://www.discgolfscene.com/league/15365/monday-night-league-2026
$5 from each entry fee will be used for Greens/TD fees to help cover permit and insurance costs. The remainder of the net entry fees will be used for payouts.
