We are hosting the first ever Champions Shark Challenge!
As we have learned this year, Champions Park floods occasionally. You may have thought dogs, or perhaps dog walkers, were the biggest threat to disc golfers here, but after the recent flooding there have been many Shark sightings on the course.
This will be an unsanctioned, shotgun start, multi-disc challenge. The Champions Shark Challenge will be similar to a the Trilogy Challenge or other single-disc challenge events, but this time only Sharks are allowed. But not just the Innova Shark, you may use any disc golf disc with a shark name...

There is no limit to the number of discs you can use, they simply must be one of these molds. You can play with just one disc, or you can create a whole bag of sharks. Conveniently, the player’s pack disc is all you need to participate if you don’t already have any of these molds. And yes, this means you must putt with one of these molds too. So get to building your bag of sharks and get out there for some practice!
We will have several CTP prizes throughout the course, plus $5 of your entry fee will go towards payouts to the top finishers in each division.

$15 to Custom Stamp Star Shark or Star/Champion Mako3
$5 to Payouts
$5 to CTP Prizes
$5 to Course/Club Fund

The number one goal of this event is to have a little fun trying out some new discs and throwing some new shots. But we also felt Champions deserved a little love and hope this event will fundraise some money for new Mando signage and other needed improvements.
