About this tournament
2 rounds of play
This will be a two round charity doubles tournament with 50% of the entry fees going to payouts and 50% going to the Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A.) Gives Back 501(c)(3) organization. This is a fundraising event to support Craig Lefler, who is running the upcoming Boston Marathon on April 20th and raising money for the B.A.A Gives Back charity. The B.A.A Gives Back charity sponsors races throughout Massachusetts' communities to promote a healthy lifestyle through sports and running.
Thompson House of Pizza, or T-HOP as the locals call it, will be on site in the morning to take lunch orders that will be delivered for the lunch break. Please make sure you have cash on hand if you are planning on ordering lunch.
Morning of there will also be raffles, an ace pot, mulligans, CTPs, and potentially more for additional fees.
We are planning for two rounds, with the first teeing off around 9AM.
There will be three divisions:
MIX for a team consisting of one male and one female.
AM1 for a team of two males whose combined rating is less than 1850.
MPO for any male male team with a combined rating of 1850 or higher or if you're a mixed team looking for the challenge.
*Any team signing up for AM1 without official ratings can be moved to MPO per tournament director discretion: NO SANDBAGGING!
Number of spots per division paid out will be determined by division size.
