Thank you for your interest in this event. ALL players of all ages are welcome! New/first time players welcome!
Disc Golf is a fun, lovely, and accessible game. Queer Disc Golf has been travelling over Canada and the United States to creative inclusive, welcoming and fun tournaments for everyone. This event is a partnership between QDG and Disc Golf Manitoba to bring QDG's Chains for Change series to Winnipeg.
This event features A Doubles round in the Morning and a Singles round in the afternoon. Lunch is INCLUDED with your $35. Players will get 2 slices of pizza and their choice of a Non-Alcoholic beverage. In order to keep event costs low player packs are optional. We have Discs ($30) and Hats ($40)- as optional Add-Ons. These add-ons help us to keep doing what we do!
Feel free to show up with a partner- or opt to join as a solo and you will be paired with another player of similar skill level. The choice is yours!
There will be lots of prizing and giveaways- as is customary with QDG Events!
A large portion of proceeds from this event will go to support The Rainbow Resource Centre (https://rainbowresourcecentre.org/) - a local organization supporting LGBTQ2S+ folks in the Winnipeg and throughout the province of Manitoba. Since our first event in September of 2023, QDG has supported raising approximately $75,000 CDN for local charities and LGBTQ2S+ resources.
