Chains and Grains West is back and we are going bigger then we have before. This years event is going to span 3 days with 2 rounds of disc golf, glow, camping, music, and beer!

This year I wanted to include a sanctioned aspect to the tournament but still keep the original fun version with mulligans and beer on the course. So, here is how its going to go down.

October 6th:
During the day we will be prepping for the tournament. At night its going to be glow disc golf, Tipi hangs and camping. For glow we will be setting up a smaller putt and approach style course on a section of Dry Hop so it will be nice and relaxed. So if this sounds interesting to you, check the options in registration.

October 7th:
This is the Chains and Grains you know and love. We start off the day with one round of disc golf, mulligans will be available for purchase, beer will be on the course, CTPs will be out there. The players pack is the same as years passed, custom stamped disc and a glass for the beer, well this year its a really nice stainless tumbler instead of the glass. After the round is when the Homebrew festival starts. Walk around try some beer and vote for your favorites. My buddy Todd will be making up some BBQ for purchase (He will be making more this year because it went super quick last year). Once the scores from disc golf are checked, winners will be announced and prizes will be given out. We also have something special in store. We will have the island cleared off so we will be putting a basket out there and there will be a $500 Ace Bounty! More info to come on this one but it is happening. Live music will be going on during the homebrew festival and its looking like we should have a few bands, more on this also to come. After the music is done and the Homebrew winner is announced its time for glow, tipi hangs and camping again.

October 8th:
On Sunday we will have a one round sanctioned tournament. This is pretty much just a chance for players to get some points for their rating but I might throw in some prizes as well. This round is completely separate from the other round except depending on how you place on Saturday determines when your start on Sunday, because there will be Tee Times for this round. Once you finish your round feel free to hang out have a beer of what ever is left and watch people tee off on 18. If you want to leave after round that is fine too, if it turns out we can do a couple prizes for the sanctioned round I can get them to you after the tournament.

Other Notes:
-You don't have to play in both tournaments you can do what ever you would like, all the options are below. That being said if you only want to play in the sanctioned tournament only there is a separate Disc Golf Scene event page here discgolfscene.com/CnGWest2023Sanctioned
-For those of you that choose to do both the unsanctioned and sanctioned round, register here and check the box for the sanctioned round. I will be adding you manually to the sanctioned round Disc Golf Scene page so it may take a day or two for you to show up.
-If you are a homebrewer and are interested in bringing beer to serve please reach out to me.
-If you know someone that wants to come for the beer part of the event and not the disc golf portion reach out to me.
