$100 prize to the winning team!! Players meeting at 8:45. Tee off at 9:00. This will be a random doubles tournament, March Madness style. The 1st round will be 18 holes and mostly for seeding. The teams with the top 16 scores will move on to the next round. The rest of the field will be eliminated. All the remaining rounds will be 9 holes only. The 2nd round will be team #1 vs. team #16, team #2 vs. team #15 and so on, bracket style. After round 2 there will be 8 teams left. I had previously thought I wanted to reseed after each round but to keep it as close to March madness as possible, we will not reseed. After round 3 there will be 4 teams left. After another 9 holes, the 2 winning teams will then play a final 9 hole championship round. The last 2 teams will have played a total of 3 full rounds, 54 holes.
