About this tournament
2 rounds of play
Welcome to the Central Showdown! This is a 2 round, PDGA sanctioned, singles event at Central Park in Cumming, GA.
Layouts:
Pool A: Long-Long
Pool B: Mixed-Harder
Pool C: Mixed-Easier
Pool D: Shorts-Short
Finance:
-$3 PDGA
-$9 Passthrough and insurance
-$1 Trophies
-$2 Club
Pros:
-100% Payout to top 40% of each division after fees
Ams:
-This will be a Trophy Only event
-There will be no players pack
-Entry goes towards PDGA, Insurance, Greens, and Club fees
-In the case the collected amount surpasses the passthrough fee, there will be added prizes in the form of CTPs for discs
Awards:
After the second round 1st place trophies will be presented
Message from the TD:
This tournament is going to be a marathon. The course is about 4 miles of hiking in the Atlanta sun so please be prepared.
There will be an extended lunch break for people to refuel and rest
The layouts are meant to be challenging. My intention is that even is a good score for each division
It will be a shotgun start both rounds. I will do my best with trying not to send cards too far out.
There will be no players meeting so when you arrive you can begin your journey to your starting hole
There will be backups so please be patient
I will have plenty of water on site

Because all fees have been covered, the list of free current prizes is as follows
PROS:
- Added cash $3/ person
- Free New Disc CTP Shared with MA1
AMS:
-Winners of each division gets free entry to my next tournament (or choice of used disc)
-Each Pool will have its own free new disc CTP
There will be Pool specific CTPs and entire tournament Ace that you can purchase day of with cash. The ace pool will start with the amount from the Chatt pointe league. If no ace is hit, it will be added to the chatt pool.

FOCODGC is responsible for all refunds and cancellations.
Players who officially request to withdraw from an event at least 5 days before the start of the event will receive a 100% monetary refund of their entry fee (not including DGS + Paypal Fees)
