Thank you for registering.
Here are details about the event and what the flex format will be.
Flex allows players to show up during the hours of 8:00 and 10:00 to tee-off. You can show up with people you make arrangements to play with. People looking for card mates will be placed with other cards or singles. We prefer cards of at least 3 and no more than 4. Exceptions can be made. We will not be giving tee times.
We will also allow walk ups and late registrants but they will not be provided a lunch.
Social distancing – this is in effect at all times. For disc golf this is staying over 6 feet apart, not touching anybody else’s equipment or discs, and only 1 disc in that basket at a time. This will be monitored by my wife and I and only so many incidents of breaching that will be tolerated.
Attire and what to bring –
· Solid footwear. Sandals and flops would be a mistake. For people in shorts consider a longer sock that you can pull up if you have to go into the long grass or weeds.
· Bug spray and sunscreen.
· Water – we do not have potable water on site. We will not be filling any reusable bottles. Some bottled water will be provided during the tournament and water and other beverages will be available for sale. If you are camping please consider the amount of water you need.
· Chair – if you want to sit down and relax
Lunch – We will have burgers and sausages available. As your group finishes the first 18 my wife and I will take your food orders including all the condiments you select. We will present the food to you all prepped and there will be no shared surfaces or group access to the food.
Beverages – We will have beverages for sale during the day. I will not place coolers out but will do a couple loops on the quad with the cooler and offer you a drink. I will track what your bill and we can settle up electronically later and club members have their chit. There will be no shared service access to the coolers. Ask and we will provide.
Campers – please ping me your ETA and I will help get you set up. Bring water. We do not have potable water on site and will not be filling water containers for anybody. Any other details and sire information I will give you when you arrive.
Now to the fun stuff. The formats.

There are 4 fantastic divisions that each player gets to choose from!!!! Electronic prizes and payments are still the way to go for the moment but we can still have fun with it. Prize money will be split equally among the divisions. The event budget is (lunch, $5 fundraiser for the course, prizes). There will be no rewards ceremony and electronic prizes will follow after I have a chance to calculate them and announce.
Before your group tee’s off you should have confirmed your 2 divisions with me.
1) I am a Pro and I know it division: This is for the high walking low raw score player.
2) Captain Canada division: This is for the handicapped player who knows they will dominate the day. Canada day is your day. This division is also for the Pro without a handicap that is willing to take it all with a 0 handicap.
3) I am an Am, I have the glam, I will bring the jam division: This is for the amateur player. John will have his eyes out for anybody bringing too much Jam jumping into this division. You will compete on a raw score total for the day
4) Maiden Non-winner’s division: This division is for all the new faces that are starting to play. If you are new to disc golf recently or a young person wanting to compete against new people and make some golf contacts. There are so many new faces to the game. Lot’s of people looking to make disc golf buddies.
5) Mystery Division: This is for the player who just want to roll be dice and see what happens. The format will not be disclosed until after the event. The format will not be any of the other 4 divisions. Stableford, mystery match play, mystery doubles partner, highest scores, ????. A combination of them??? Ohhhh the excitement.
More than likely I have missed some small details and you may hear from me later. I am going to have a busy day today preparing and shopping.
