Canaan's Classic Disc Golf Tournament is hosted in honor of Canaan Bryant. Canaan was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in 2020. What started out as a sore knee quickly turned into a life-threatening diagnosis. Cancer had broken his femur and initial tests showed that it was aggressive. Canaan started chemotherapy and had surgery to remove his femur and knee and replace with a prosthetic rod and knee. Thankfully, Canaan is in remission. He's enjoying school, disc golf, and playing with his brothers.
