About this tournament
1 round of play
CADL Inc. is excited to bring you the second running of The Devil's Challenge, a one-hole tournament at THE Diavolo DGC.
Yes, you read that right. One hole.
To complete The Devil's Challenge, you tee off from Hole 4's Blue tee. You then work your way thru the course, across the pond, up the fairways, before landing in a 5-meter circle around Hole 12's basket. Once you accomplish this, cross the Tobacco Trail, where you'll find a temp tee on the other side on the outside of hole 13's tee pads. From there, you'll resume throwing on whichever route you choose, until your disc comes to rest inside Hole 16's basket. Lowest score in each division wins!
The first 80 registrants will receive a DyeMax Devil's Challenge disc (Pures and Felons available!) with their entry fee. Once 80 have registered, subsequent registrations will receive a premium CADL disc. Top finishers in each division will receive electronic voucher payouts to Yeet Street Discs! Total number of places paid depends on total entries in that division.
Divisions Available:
RED - (sub-900 rated)
GREEN - (900-949 rated)
GOLD - (950 rated & up)
PINK - Women
If you do not have a PDGA rating, approximate based on your typical round. If you can throw 300+ feet, generally make your putts from 15 feet and in, and often shoot under par on most recreational courses, go with the GREEN division. Otherwise go with the RED division. If you play professional and are an experienced player, please choose GOLD. At the end of the day, just have fun!
Note that while this is (obviously) unsanctioned, we will play by PDGA rules (but disc flipping is allowed if you don't have a mini marker)
OBs: Creek on 4, fence posts/woodline on 9, surrounded by water in pond, tobacco trail, creek on 17/18, utility station near 16/17.
BUY BACK IN!
Did the devil take his due during your round? Players can run it back and try for an improved score for a $5 re-buy-in, payable on site via cash/paypal/venmo ($5 rounds do not receive another custom disc). Your best score of the day will count in the standings.
Please note, you must have at least three people on a tee time.
