Welcome to the 5th edition of the infamous Burnt Turkey!

This year we're bringing the pain to Simsbury DGC in Pickerington, Ohio.

This is a 2 round, 1 day BYOP tournament featuring all sorts of devilish OBs, mandos, tricky rules, format changes, everything.

We will play what is essentially the Diablo Doubles format. Some best shot, some worst shot, some alternate shot. I'm planning on making some temp holes and also making use of at least 1 combined hole for a total of 20 holes per round.

Gonna make it very clear upfront that $25/team entry will be donated to charity and every other dollar is going to payout. Top 30% in each division will be paid out. The pro division will be paid in cash after the tournament and Am divisions will be paid out via merchandise provided by the wonderful people at Disc Golf Mart.

If you're trying to play in an Am division, please use your team's average PDGA rating as a guide for what division to play. For reference:

MA1 teams should average from 950 and below
MA2 teams should average from 900 and below

Please don't be alarmed if your team averages like 905 and you have to go up against teams somewhat higher rated than you. Trust me when I say the course will be so tricked up that any team of any skill level can fall prey to the course that awaits them.

I will do my best to monitor players and make sure they're not fudging rating guidelines. But also do me a favor and make sure you're in the right division so I don't get dozens of emails about these damn numbers that the PDGA randomly assigns to us to categorize our worth as frisbee throwers.
