About this tournament
1 round of play
1 Round Hollywood Doubles event to benefit FTD Research at MassGeneral Hospital.
Hollywood is a unique disc golf format. Borderland Disc Golf course has two baskets on each hole and teams may choose to throw to either one, and do not need to declare their intention! Teams must always throw from the same lie, but can throw to different baskets until someone gets it in. Teams that choose to throw to the longer basket position are rewarded with a half stroke off their score. As an example, a team that gets a 3 to the long pin would record a 2.5 for the hole.
Entry fee is $50 per team. Half of the entry fee will go directly to the FTD Foundation, with the other half going towards cash payouts for the top 33% of each division.
There will be four division offered: Pro, Amateur, Mixed, will play from the white tee pads. The Novice division will play from the Yellow tees. There will be Trophies for the winners!
There will at least 1 CTP (Closest to the Pin) prize on every hole. There will be some terrific prizes!
Hole sponsorships are available. There is a Hole Sponsor division if you would like to donate but do not intend to play in the event.
