About this tournament

Birdie Presents: Kicking Cancer: In Support of the B+ Foundation charity disc golf tournament will take place on Sunday June 12, 2022 at Brandywine State Creek Park. All proceeds raised from the tournament will be donated to the B+ Foundation.

There will be 2 single round tournaments:
A morning tournament (8:30 to 12:30) with 3 separate divisions (Open, MA1, and MA2), playing to the long baskets.
An afternoon tournament (1:00 to 4:00) for MA3, MA4, 18U, and 12U playing to the short baskets.

I am the clerk of my high school’s B+ Foundation club and for the second year, I wanted to host this tournament to combine my passion for playing disc golf with wanting to help raise money to support cancer research. Cancer research is close to my heart because I have lost my grandparents and my aunt to cancer.

The B+ Foundation is about Kids Helping Kids Fight Cancer through activities such as dance marathons, 5Ks, T-shirts sales, and now disc golf! The foundation supports research and advocacy and is the largest provider of financial assistance to families of children with cancer nationwide.

PLEASE NOTE - This rated tournament is an X-Tier (Charity) event and we have been approved by the PDGA to waive typical disc golf tournament payouts. There will be a prize awarded to each division winner. 100% of the tournament fees will be donated to the B+ Foundation. I hope you will join our tournament and help us meet our goal of raising $5,000 for the B+ Foundation.
