2021 Bittner Park Open

No early registration will be offered. 90 player field, with 45 person caps on all professional divisions and amateur divisions. All unfilled spots will be filled via the waitlist on March 29, 2021 at 8pm. Hole sponsorships are strongly encouraged as all donations will go to the course fund for the purchase of a second set of baskets and teepads.

NO WALK-UPS WILL BE ALLOWED DUE TO COVID-19 CONCERNS.

Professional divisions are playing for cash (100% payout minus fees) and trophy.

Amateur divisions will be playing for trophy and/or merchandise (TBD). All amateur participants will receive a player's pack (specifics TBD).

Two rounds of 18 holes.
All divisions will play existing tees and baskets for round 1.
Professional divisions may play from selected long tees for round 2 (depending on course conditions).

Preliminary schedule:
8:00 AM - Registration opens
8:45 AM - Check In cutoff. If not checked in, will be declared a NO SHOW
9:00 AM - Round 1
12:00 PM - Lunch (On your own, quick turnaround, will end no later than 45 minutes after last card)
1:00 PM - Round 2
4:45 PM - Awards (acepot and division winners only). All professional players receiving cash payouts will be paid electronically. All amateur players will receive a voucher for merchandise (redeemable in-person or on-line ... TBD).

There will be no formal players meeting. A digital players meeting (with course notes) will be sent via email during the week prior to the event

Ace Pot:
If the ace pot is not claimed, it will be donated to the course fund.

Refund policy
Connecticut Shoreline Disc Golf is responsible for all refunds/cancellations.

C. Players who officially request to withdraw from an event at least 30 days before the start of the event will receive a 100% cash refund (minus up to a $10 handling fee).

D. Players who officially request to withdraw from an event 15 to 29 days before the start of the event will receive a 100% cash refund minus up to a $10 handling fee ONLY if their spot in the tournament is filled through either the waitlist or a walk-up entry (if offered). If the player’s spot is NOT filled, the TD has the choice to provide EITHER a 50% cash refund OR just the player’s pack the player would have received if they had attended (minus the cost of shipping). In the case of a player in a Pro division for an event without a Pro player pack worth at least 25% of the Entry Fee, the TD will provide the 50% cash refund.

E. Players who officially request to withdraw from an event within 14 days of the start of the event and prior to the event’s published closure of registration and waitlist replacements (within one week is recommended) will receive a 100% cash refund minus up to a $10 handling fee ONLY if their spot in the tournament is filled through either the waitlist or a walk-up entry (if offered). If the player’s spot is NOT filled, the TD has the choice to provide EITHER a 25% cash refund OR just the player’s pack they would have received if they had attended (minus the cost of shipping). In the case of a player in a Pro division for an event without a Pro player pack worth at least 25% of the Entry Fee, the TD will provide the 25% cash refund.

F. Players who do NOT officially request to withdraw from a registered spot playing in the event prior to the published closure of registration and waitlist replacements and don’t play (aka a no-show), forfeit their entry fee and do NOT receive a refund or player’s pack.

Refunds for competitors on the waitlist that did not make it into the competitive field will be sent out on or before Monday, April 5, 2021.
