The Birdie or Die Doubles series is a fundraising series to install new baskets at Riney B Park in Nicholasville, KY. $7 from each player's entry fee will be donated directly to these efforts. This is a 1-round, bring-your-own partner doubles event playing the worst-shot format of doubles.
There are 4 divisions offered for this event:
Pro
Advanced
Rec
Women's Only
Some divisions will have a maximum combined PDGA rating for the two team members. If you do not have a PDGA rating, your assumed rating is 870.
Pro - no rating requirements
Advanced - combined rating of 1870 or below
Rec - combined rating of 1750 or below
Women's Only - combined rating of 1750 or below
Any player with a rating 940 and above must play in the Pro division
The TD has the right to require a team's division change if necessary. This problem has yet to occur, but it allows for fair play, especially with non-PDGA members. If a division change needs to happen, the team will be notified at least 48 hours prior to the event. A full refund option will also be available
Division Entry Fees
Pro - $50 per team
Advanced - $40 per team
Rec - $40 per team
Women's Only - $40 per team
ALL DIVISIONS RECEIVE CASH PAYOUT!
PROS - Top 33% (including ties) will receive cash payout via PayPal.
AMS - Top 40% will receive cash payout via PayPal.
Teams are able to choose their own tee time. All cards must have 2 teams when playing, so it is possible for tee times to be moved around (you will be notified if this affects you).
