This year there have been some minor challenges with the Big T Memorial and in order to provide a unique tournament that is friendly to introduce players to the sport and provide an opportunity for younger kids to experience what competition is, we have come up with a rather special way for the competition to take place.
There will be a limited number of competitors. Only 32 total spots, this is inclusive of all divisions. The Juniors and novice division will be playing for a merch payout. The competitive division will be playing for a cash payout. We are also working on unique trophies that would compliment the Big T Memorial cook-off trophies. This will be a three-disc mystery disc challenge. Every player will be playing with the same discs and we will be playing on an augmented design of our course. This year, this will be a singles-only tournament.
The tournament cost will be $35, it will be a flex start non-sanction tournament starting at 8:00 a.m. and going until 3:00 p.m. Once you play your first round, because you'll have the mystery discs in hand, you're welcome to pay for a second round if you like to improve your scores. A portion of the money from the tournament will go towards the Big T Memorial fundraiser.
