About this tournament
Thanks,
Eli Swansen (TD)
Announcement (June 8th):
Registration will remain Open for Pro players through June 15th at 9am. It will also be available to a select number of amateurs based on available players packs. If you wish to signup as an amateur please email me directly to find out availability. Email listed below.
[email redacted]
This event will be a True Amateur Event:
- This event for amateurs will be run as a true amateur event. This means you will see a better players pack than other tournaments as well as a better tournament experience. A better experience will include such things as water and snacks on the course, amazing trophies for all amateur divisions, and fantastic tournament organization (including course maps and players guides). Since this may be a new concept for many I will give you a simple breakdown of how your money will be utilized.
$16 ---> Fees (course rental fees, and PDGA player fees)
$50 ---> Players Pack/Tournament Experience (trophies, course amenities, etc.)
If you wish to read more about how the PDGA defines a true amateur event visit the link below

I would also wish to clarify that I am NOT taking any cut as the tournament director for any of my time and that all money is staying within the event costs. I also do not run or own a business associated with disc golf, so running this event for me is solely a volunteer endeavor and is a way to provide a great experience to all and to give back to the great disc golf community here in Wisconsin.
Camping:
- On site camping is available for the week/weekend. This is not something to be scheduled through the tournament. Please reach out to Tom Winsce and Highbridge Hills to claim your camping site for the weekend of the tournament.

Vendors:
- This is a call to get vendors to sign up. We will list any vendors companies in this section once they are signed up to sell. There will be two different periods for vendors to set up throughout the tournament. One on Saturday from 12:00pm - 7:00pm and one on Sunday from 1:15pm-5:15pm.
- please reach out to [email redacted] to find out the price and book a vendor slot today
Contributing Sponsor:
- A contributing sponsor can provide value to the event in a number of ways. To find out what that might look like, feel free to email and ask.
- Benefits include:
- Logo on the back of our players pack t-shirts
- Ad page in our caddybooks
- Mentioned as a contributing sponsor
- Automatic Hole Sponsorship
Hole Sponsorship:
- By sponsoring a hole you will get your name/business/logo/phrase on a professionally printed sign next to the tee of a hole on the course. If there is video coverage of the tournament play your logo will also be incorporated to that on the given hole in question. You will also be listed as a hole sponsor in the players guide/caddybook.
- If you wish to sponsor a hole as an individual or a business you are encouraged to signup. You can signup for this with your registration (if you are also a player) or reach out to [email redacted] and we can get you set. A small portion of your $25 dollars will go to the printing of the sign and the rest will go directly to funding the tournament.
Course Descriptions:
- Blueberry Hill: Perhaps the most picturesque course on the property Blueberry Hill has been a staple of the Highbridge Hills lineup for years. 2007 Worlds finished on Hole 1 of this beautiful course and there is a reason it has been the favorite of so many players over the years. The manicured fairways and beautiful greens in and out of the woods, up and down the hill make Blueberry Hill the most versatile, fun and fair course for all divisions. Thus it is only fitting that it is a course that every division will play at some point throughout the weekend.
- Granite Ridge: Another one of the most loved courses on the hill, Granite Ridge provides a great challenge while still remaining one of the most fun courses on the property. With 12 of the 18 holes being downhill, while the course still traverses from to to bottom of Highbridge Hills creates a unique fun factor while still bringing in tough elements. The wind is most prevalent on Granite Ridge and while it doesn't come into play on every hole many of the holes require touch as much as distance to compete. With two permanent basket placements per hole this course allows for all skill levels to have a great time, while at the same time still giving trouble to the games top players. Every division will also get a shot at Granite Ridge at some point throughout the weekend.
- Woodland Greens: The most beginner friendly course on the property is still not as easy as it seems. While the distances may be short and the rough may not be as present there is still a lot of challenge in gathering birdies on Woodland Greens. This course is known for some of the most unique and challenging greens in Wisconsin and each and every putt and shot is an important one. Slight elevation changes and beautiful course features makes this course one that often gets overlooked when it shouldn't be. It is the hidden gem of Highbridge Hills and everyone can enjoy it no matter the skill level. This course will only be utilized by our less experienced and shorter throwing divisions, but that does not mean it will be a walk in the park.
- The Bear: This beast of a course is not about distance and power, but more so focused on placement. Players will be confined to the fairways and forced to make smart decisions in order to remain intact while doing battle on this course. The Bear is a beautiful course that is a favorite of all the local pros for the challenge it provides. Keep your shots in the fairway and out of the brutal rough and you might just get away under par. Speaking of par, Par is 72 meaning birdies take 3 if not 4 great shots to achieve. Your mental game will be challenged a lot on the Bear so keep calm and enjoy your time out here, because no day is short on the Bear. 5 hour rounds are quite common, so stay hydrated and focused and you may just get out alive. Due to the extremely challenging nature of this course it will only be played by the more experienced divisions participating in the tournament.
***Bonus: Highbridge Gold. While Highbridge Gold will not be used during tournament play, this course is still perhaps the best on the property. While portions of what Highbridge Gold once was are no longer playable it still has a unique 9 fairways with 2 baskets per hole giving it 36 total holes to play. Even though it is not a tournament course right now it will be back to a full 18 fairway course eventually and it is definitely worth a play right now. We are excited to use Highbridge Gold as a premiere tournament course in the near future hopefully even as soon as 2023.
