Welcome to the 9th year of the Barboursville Open Sponsored by Latitude 64. We are excited to announce that this event will now be a C/B Tier event. We will be utilizing Barboursville City Park and the Jason Wintz Memorial DGC. This event will be a True Amateur Event with a bonus added payout paid out to the top 30% of each division. There will be an early registration raffle to the first 60 participants that sign up for a Marksman Basket.

True Amateur (also referred to as "trophy only") is the designation used by the PDGA in reference to those amateur events at A-Tier and below, or the amateur portions of events, which promote the true spirit of amateur athletics by presenting only trophies to the top finishers of the tournament rather than a payout in merchandise.

Ace Pot:
Cash payout for Ace Pot split amongst Pools. If no Aces are hit, we will raffle off 50% of the Ace Pot cash, and the other 50% will be donated to our upcoming premier events added Cash, The 9th Annual Putnam County Classic.

PDGA Pass-Through Fees
- $4 to the PDGA
- $4 TD fee

We will have 3 layouts for Wintz this year. Pool A will be playing all of the regular tees, Pool B, C will be playing a Modified Regular Tees with just a few short Tees (1,17,18) and Pool D will be playing the Modified Temp layout similar to last year. We plan on getting the layouts completed well ahead of the tourney and on Udisc to give players ample time to practice.

Playoff to break ties for first place for Pool A and B will be Sudden Death starting on Hole 18A at Bville City. Will play a loop of 18A and 17A until a winner has been deemed.
For Pools C & D, the Sudden Death playoff will start on hole 1 on the Barboursville DGC (Shorts) and will continue on until a winner has been deemed.

Any refund requests will follow the PDGA’s Withdraw and Refund Policy.
