About this tournament

Get a Bab - throw a Bab - roll a Bab - putt a Bab

About the event: This event is a one disc challenge using the Above Ground Level Disc’s (AGL) Baobab included in the player pack as part of registration. The event will be shotgun start at Circleville Park, played through twice for a total of 18 holes. There will be several CTPs (all registrants automatically entered) and an optional ace fund (buy in with cash at check-in, or at registration online).

The $25 player pack for the event will include:

- A Tournament stamped Baobab (disc)
- A custom stamped Acorn Mini (can topper)
- An event printed towel
- A sticker
- A pencil

Both divisions are open to ALL SKILL LEVELS. The differences are in level of competitiveness:

- Int/Adv is for players looking to compete for the $50 AGL Discs Gift Card Grand Prize
- Beg/Rec is for players looking to play a casual tournament that want to laugh and learn a new unique disc that may become a staple in their bags. The champion of the Beg/Rec division will earn a $25 Gift Card to High Line Disc Golf LLC thanks to a generous donation!

Both divisions will be competing for CTP prizes, Ring-of-Fire prizes, the $25 AGL Gift Card for the Longest Roller Champion, and trophies for the top performers in each division.

After lunch, before round two, there will be a “Longest Roller Challenge” where participants will roll their Baobab on a long flat surface (either the baseball field or on the fairway of hole 7) and the furthest Bab wins a $25 gift card to agldiscs.com. There will also be a Bab-only Ring of Fire with prizes. The ace pot will be an optional $2 per player. If an ace is hit during one of the 2 rounds, the CCDGA will match the value of the pot, doubling the prize money for the winner. There will be a throw off for the ace pot at the end of the tournament if no ace is hit.

A huge thank you to our sponsors who were kind enough to donate prizes for CTPs, Ring-of-Fire, Ace Pot Bonus, and winnings for the Beg/Rec champion:

- High Line Disc Golf LLC
- Climb Nittany
- Shaver's Creek Environmental Center
- Purple Lizard Maps
- Treasures of the Forest

About the Baobab: The AGL Discs Baobab is an extremely overstable putt and approach disc golf disc. The Baobab sports a unique set of flight numbers at 4/0/1/3. This disc does not like to fly - but when it does, it likes to fade hard. No single term can quite define the Baobab but it has quickly become a favorite among those who have thrown it. The Baobab features a top bead on a flat top with a beadless bottom making it comfortable to throw both backhand and forehand; further increasing its versatility. When made in our premium “Alpine” plastic, this disc becomes a freight train of a forehand roller shot, hence earning the title the “Bao-Bowler”! Whether you need a long putt to fall quickly to avoid trouble, need a tight s-curve flight, or just need a disc to dump hard, the Baobab will take your approach game Above Ground Level.

About AGL: AGL - Above Ground Level - is a family owned Disc Golf company, based just miles from DeLaveaga Disc Golf Course in California. All of the products are "Made in the USA", and AGL is proud to help the Americans that manufacture our discs for us. They strive to give players the best, most innovative, products on the market. They strive to be the “greenest” disc golf company; donating to One Tree Planted, National Parks, and more. All their discs are named after a tree and, if requested at order, come with a seed corresponding to the disc name.

AGL has a team with over 100 members, including both Pro Open and Amateur players from all ages, and all walks of life - including one of our TDs, Tommy Butler. The team is more like a family and supports each other as much as possible. Check us out on the Facebook AGL Discs Fan Page! When we all go out and play, we want two things - have a lot of fun and to have a great game, because sometimes that's not the same thing! We play, and sponsor, courses all over the United States, Canada, Finland, and even Thailand!
